SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -- Spartanburg police are asking for help to locate a woman who has not been seen or heard from since Friday night.
Evelyn Shelton, who lives on Tralee Drive in Duncan, was last seen Friday at about 10 p.m.
Shelton’s aunt, Rita Mims, said, “Every time my phone would ring, I would just jump, hoping it was her calling back. But no luck yet.”
Shelton was last seen on North Dean Street in Spartanburg.

Spartanburg Public Safety Lt. Regina Nowak said, “According to our witnesses, she got in the car and left there, but that's the last place that we can physically place her.”
Saturday morning, Shelton’s orange Chevrolet HHR was found abandoned and locked a few miles away on Hayne Street across from WIlliam's Grill.
Mims said, “That's the first clue that something was wrong -- to know that the car would have been found in that area -- we know something's wrong with that. She wouldn't have went there.”
Spartanburg Public Safety Capt. Randy Hardy said, “There is a very good possibility that foul play is involved."
Shelton's family distributed these flyers around Spartanburg on Wednesday.

Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward up to $2,000 for information in this case.
