Eph. 3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Traveling throughout this country and abroad has taught me many things.  I have preached in places that were hungry for the truth and I have preached places that were hungry for money.  I have been subjected to all kinds of situations and circumstances when it comes to "church" and I have seen a lot.  When I was called to ministry, God assured me that he wanted me to preach the message of deliverance to his church and we strive to continue doing it.  But there are a few things that we must understand when it comes to church and fellowshipping together as Saints.  We must understand that the motives of our fellowship must be understood and the reason behind our gathering together must be made plain.  So many people go to church because they grew up that way and it's the right thing to do, yet the church they attend has no power or purpose from God.  Sure it's good to just come together and be strengthened, but without true motivation to do what God desires, the church will die.

You see, you cannot just make church a habit or something that is required of you.  I know people that hate when Sunday comes and they hate the messages their pastor preaches, and they hate everything about the church they attend, yet for lack of options, they continue to go.  Don't you understand that your motives are wrong in this instance?  Why would you subject yourself and your family to a place that is not appealing to you?  Why would you suffer to fellowship with folks if it's something you would rather not do?  God does not have a church scoring card in heaven, and he is not writing down the days you miss church!  The true church of God is in you and though we come together under a roof and worship with our brethren, this should not be a chore or a task.  The true task is allowing the living, breathing, church organism to dwell inside you and be projected to others through you.  Living the life pleasing unto God and attractive to the sinner is the true purpose of the church.  Sure, whenever we come together under a roof, the church in us unites and become an institution, but that should never stop the true living church from operating inside of us.  You see, when we suffer to be in a place that is not purposed for us, then we hinder the true church in us.  We begin to deny the very power operating inside of us because we are being indoctrinated by a place of worship that is not Godly.  Be careful to protect the true church in you by avoiding churches that are not ideal for you. Never suffer to fellowship with believers if that fellowship is marred with ungodliness.  Your motives will change if you continue to subject yourself to a fellowship that is not working to establish God's Kingdom on the earth.
